Ingredients

*Base Recipe*

  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • ⅓ cup natural nut butter (see * notes)
  • ¼ cup maple syrup or honey
  • ½ cup rolled oats
  • 2 tablespoons chia seeds
  • ¼ cup ground flax
Carrot Cake Energy Bites
  • ¼ cup shredded coconut
  • 1 cup finely shredded carrots
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
Trail Mix Energy Bites
  • ¼ cup shredded coconut
  • ¼ cup smarties
  • ¼ cup raisins
  • ¼ cup sunflower seeds
Blueberry Almond Energy Bites
  • ¼ cup dried blueberries
  • ¼ cup sliced almonds

Instructions 

  1. Melt coconut oil in a large bowl.
  2. Stir in the nut butter, maple syrup (or honey) until smooth. Add the oats, chia seeds and ground flax, plus extra add-ins.
  3. Chill mixture for 30 min - 2 hours.
  4. Roll into 1 tablespoon balls and enjoy!
  5. Store in the fridge for up to 1 week or the freezer for up to 3 months.
